So you as a female has lost the ability to cook...
And the man in your life (sorry girls, can't play if your partner is a lady) has to cook dinner everynight from now on.
What are you eating for the rest of your life?
In my house, we are eating the following on a rotational basis: Bangers & Mash (sausages & mashed potatoes) Hot Dogs Boiled Rice Cheese Sandwiches Concoctions of ground beef, beand & curry sauce eta...eggy bread with ketchup. (french toast)
And takeaways.
You next.

DH is really good at making sauce. So...lots of pasta. Other than that...lots of take-out. Though when forced he can actually follow recipes really well.

Re: So you as a female has lost the ability to cook...
very inventive sandwiches involving things like chicken cutlets, mozzarella and gravy
lots of fried pasta
lobster
*i kind of cheated. the first two involve leftovers that someone else had to cook first LOL but that is all he knows!

Re: So you as a female has lost the ability to cook...
Hmmm... well... seeing as how my DH is the better cook, he is usually the one doing the cooking.
Even more so now since we recently struck a new deal - in exchange for after work gym time (where I handle all toddler duty) he cooks every night.
So I enjoy yummy, healthy (so not too yummy) meals cooked by DH almost every night.
So things like:
Marinated Grilled Flank Steak w/grilled asparagus
Whole wheat pasta w/garlic & olive oil and grilled shrimp
Grilled turkey burgers with avocado salad
He grills alot. I'm loving this deal.

Re: So you as a female has lost the ability to cook...
All the same stuff we eat now!
Dh does msot of the cooking, but he doesn't like to make fish & pork chops (always over & or undercooks), so I do those when I can, and if I didn't have any say in the matter, we'd have macaroni & cheese all the time. At least its not from a box.

I think I would starve. DH doesnt cook anything, or anything I would EVER eat.
He would maybe pick up some Mexican and that's fine with me.

Re: So you as a female has lost the ability to cook...
DH is a pretty good cook...he just seems to have lost the ability to do it now that I am on extended maternity leave.
He would make: Stouffers french bread pizza Checkers (our new favorite fast food) He would be working the BBQ overtime!!!
He is a meat and potatoes kind of person.

Re: So you as a female has lost the ability to cook...
DH already does all the cooking.
He loves trying new things and clips recipes out of magazines all the time.
He buys some bizarre ingredients, things I never knew existed, but his meals usually taste incedible.
Now, if he lost the ability to cook and left it all up to me, he'd be having a lot of canned soup and cereal for dinner.

PASTA, but with garlic and oil only. Hotdogs Hamburgers
But if it involved going tot he supermarket and getting any of the supplies, then it would only be takeout. That could be delivered!

Too bad most of the stuff he cooks I can't eat since I am a vegetarian. I also would never be able to eat a side dish, he doens't make them, he can eat only meat for dinner

Re: So you as a female has lost the ability to cook...
My DH actually cooks quite well. We would probably have chicken a million different ways, but they woudl all be tasty. Our side dish though would always be rice. That is his staple.
