Some people have noticed that my firm changed its LIF banner ad a few months ago. We have decided that we are ready to come full circle and to focus exclusively on Social Security Disability (SSD) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

I started my law career as a decision writer for the office that conducts SSD and SSI hearings. I stayed in that position for a few years and I eventually became an Adjudication Officer and a Supervisory Staff Attorney for the Social Security Administration's Office of Disability Adjudication and Review. Eventually I "changed sides” and since 1999, I have been representing people who have SSD and SSI claims.

My website, LIF advertisement, community involvement and several fun networking events have brought more potential clients than I ever could have expected. I now have the means and ability to focus exclusively on the the areas that I know best, which are SSI and SSD for both adults and children. It's truly satisfying to be able to restore income for disabled clients and their families.

I now find that other disability attorneys call me for brief writing services and to cover their hearings. We are finding that the Administrative Law Judges on Long Island have been calling upon Medical Experts and Vocational Experts more and more frequently. Because I have 18 years of experience in the disability field, I do not feel daunted by the idea of cross examining those experts.

There have been some recent changes in the Social Security rules. I have focused on being prepared for those changes. In addition, I am in the process of writing a book about Social Security Disability claims.

I have had the privilege of meeting and/or speaking with each of the LIF attorney vendors. I would not hesitate to recommend any of them. If you find yourself in need of an attorney in a field that is not represented on the boards, I hope to be able to guide you. I have also met a real estate vendor who is a licensed attorney and whose advice I have found to be reliable 100% of the time. I’m proud to be among such a strong group of vendors. I am excited about the opportunity to narrow my focus once again. I have made arrangements for the completion of any cases unrelated to SSD and SSI.
