Sod replacement cost and recommendation
Hi, I was wondering if someone has replaced their sod recently?
My lawn covers around 5000 square feet of the property and I was wondering how much would it cost to replace it? It is in pretty bad shape now. I am interested in paying for everything - materials and labor. Does anyone know how much, roughly, it cost per square feet to do it?
Also, landscaper\contractor recommendations appreciated.
Thank You in advance!

Re: Sod replacement cost and recommendation
Sod is expensive. We just did 2 small patches last year, so I have no idea what 5000 sq ft would be. We did ours at the end of the season so it didn't make sense to throw down seeds, but if I were doing it in the spring, I might just do seeds instead. Much cheaper. Any local landscaper can do either option. If you want recommendations, I suggest posting your town.

Sod replacement cost and recommendation
I just had sod done for my front yard. Approx 1900 SF. I had estimates from 1.30/SF to 2.00/SF that included removal, grading, topsoil, etc. I am in Holbrook.
