Some questions for the Aug, Sept, Oct. 05 mommies
Are your little ones still napping during the day? Ava has totally given up naps which is fine but I can't even get her to go to bed at a decent time at night.
I also feel likes she eats nothing lately. Is it just the age or what? Also, if you could recommend some things that your child likes to eat for lunch or dinner I would really appreciate it. She does ok with breakfast but lunch and dinner are really a struggle. mac and cheese is the only thing that really seems to do.....but I can't keep just giving her that.
Thanks

Re: Some questions for the Aug, Sept, Oct. 05 mommies
Sept. 05 mom here - Alex is still quite in love with her nappy. She sleeps a good 1.5-2 hours a day. In my mind, it makes up for the 15 months of NO sleep that we endured with her
As for lunch, I usually just give her leftovers from the night before. Some examples:
-Sauteed Tilapia with couscous and vegetables -Israeli salad with hummus and pita -Broiled Salmon with brown rice and vegetables -Veggie meatballs with spaghetti -Pasta with tomatoes, pine nuts, spinach and feta -Egg salad and pita -Veggie burger/veggie hotdog/veggie chicken -Shakshuka (traditional Israeli dish with eggs and tomatoes) -Egg schnitzel with tahini and pita -Vegetarian chili
If I don't have leftovers to give her, I'll usually give her some soup. Today she had split pea soup with some croutons. Other days I'll give her bean soup with some bread. Or, if she's having an off day, virtually anything with hummus will make her happy.

Um, I have a confession to make. I give her the leftovers that DH made the night before because I can't cook for shiat! (I type this as he's in the kitchen cooking up some egg schnitzel and homeade tahini )

Re: Some questions for the Aug, Sept, Oct. 05 mommies
Sept 05' mom-
Get this- we still take 2 naps/day here
His schedule kinda goes like this:
Wake- 6am Nap- 8am-9am Nap 12:30-2:30 Bed- 8/8:30
On weekend we sleep in a bit later so he only takes 1 nap on those days- its usually 2-3 hrs long.
I cant even discuss eating habits- my child is barely 25lbs and likes food but hates to eat...
