Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec '06 Mommies

Instead of us all taking Jodi's thread let's post about our kiddies Chat Icon

How old?
10 months

How big and what size clothes?
23 lbs 30 inches at his 9 1/2 month check-up, wears 18-24 month pants/shorts and 24 month tops. HE is soooo broad in the chest and has a very long torso, built just like me.

What are they doing?
He is crawling, cruising, walking with assistance, taking a step or two without holding, kissing, saying mama and baba, throwing things, pushes everying across the floor, climbing, sticking out his tongue and going tttthhhpppp then laughs. No clapping, but he loves to play pat-a-cake. I'm sure there's much more I'm just not thinking of.

How much sleep at night and naps?
He takes a small nap in the morning, then a 2 hour (about) in the afternoon. He sleeps from 7:30 - 6:45.

Any teeth?
Yes, he has 7. 3 on top and 4 on bottom.

How much and what are they eating?
Steven eats everything in sight. Whatever we give him, he eats. He's drinking an 8 oz bottle in the morning, a 6 oz in the afternoon and 12 oz at night Chat Icon . I also give him milk, water and juice (very diluted) in a sippy. I've given him almost everything, except honey and peanut butter.

What is their favorite toy?
Empty water bottles, his wooden cars, fun wall, FP learning kitchen and push along toy. Will not go in jumper or exersaucer or walker--at all! Oh, and he loves his tot-rod. He will sit in it all day while we push him up and down the block.

How's your baby doing? I'm anxious to hear about all of the little ones who aren't so little Chat Icon

How much sleep at night and naps?

Re: Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec '06 Mommies

How old?
11 months

How big and what size clothes?
Peanut size. At 10 month appt, weighed 18.5 lbs. She is still in mostly 6-9 month clothing. She wears some 12 month but rarely.

What are they doing?
She is crawling, cruising, walking with assistance, kissing, saying mama and dada, throwing things, climbing stairs with help, opening and closing everything, playing peek-a-boo, turning pages in books and lifting all of the flaps and dancing. She used to clap but one day she just stopped.

How much sleep at night and naps?
She takes a morning & afternoon nap about 1.5 hrs each. She goes to bed between 7 & 7:30 and is up by 6:30.

Any teeth?
8....4 on the top and 4 on the bottom.

How much and what are they eating?
DD is a good eater. She eats everything we give her. She loves fruits & veggies, yogurt, cheese, crackers, toast & jelly, pancakes, waffles. We think she is allergic to eggs. She's never been a huge milk drinker. Right now she has a morning and late afternoon bottle---4 oz each and one sippy of milk---maybe 5 oz. She loves water but is not fond of juice.

What is their favorite toy?
She loves books! She also enjoys her Learn & Groove table and Laugh & Learn Puppy. She plays with lots of things but truly enjoys real things. Give her your cell phone, remote, plastic cup or spoon and she's happy as can be.

How's your baby doing? We think she is doing great. She was born with clubbed feet so we are thrilled with her progress. She seems to be on target with the milestones that we thought might be delayed (crawling, cruising & walking). She seems to have outgrown her cranky ways so we are excited about that too. My family is in a really good spot right now.

Can't wait to read about everyone else!!!

ETA: She waves bye-bye.

Re: Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec '06 Mommies

How old?
8.5 months

How big and what size clothes?
21.9 lbs..12-18 months

What are they doing?
opening up my drawers and pulling out all the clothes out, kissing and hugging, sways back and forth to music, finally started crawling this week, jumps in his crib, takes daredevil steps between the couch and ottoman

How much sleep at night and naps?
at night 8 PM-7AMish..
naps are anyone's guess. knock on wood, the last 2 days josh has finally napped in his crib, 2.5 hours each. If this continues my life is going to be so different.

Any teeth?
4-2 on top, 2 on bottom

How much and what are they eating?
enough breastmilk that I constantly feel drained. He will eat 1/2 a jar of food a day and an unlimited supply of cheerios. that's what I can count on.
I make a meal for him 3 times a day...a bite is taken, then its either tossed at me or 3 more bites are taken then that's it. So basically 21.9 pounds is breastmilk and cheerios.

What is their favorite toy?
the one toy at his little playcenter that I can't find on ebay.
Chat Icon not into toys at all.

They should have never cut the umbilical cord. Chat Icon

Can I ask a question since all our DC are around the same age.......What order do their teeth come in? So far DS has 1 tooth fully out on the bottom and the 2nd 1/2 way out. His top front tooth is breaking but I noticed the the one next to the front teeth is breaking as well! Shouldnt the front teeth come before the rest?

Actually, you'd be surprised. So many times I thought a different tooth was coming out. He'd get a blister and everything then another tooth would come nowhere near the one I thought!

Re: Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec '06 Mommies

How old?
10 1/2 months

How big and what size clothes?
Around 19 pounds and 29 inches (haven't been to the ped in awhile)
9 or 12 month clothes

What are they doing?
Crawling, standing without holding on, cruising everywhere, pulling up everywhere, into EVERYTHING!, will walk when I hold their hands, waves hello and good-bye (even bub-bye and hi from one now and again), says mama & dada, will copy me - shake head no and yes sometimes, do 'so big', give high-fives, claps hands, one will put her fingers together for itsy bitsy spider and when you sing it she tries to immitate your hands. They're also very into sharing with me - they give me their toys and I give them back, then they give them back, and they will feed me Cheerios if I ask.

How much sleep at night and naps?
At night - 7-7
During the day - 30 mins in the morning, about 1.5 in the afternoon

Any teeth?
2 on the bottom of both DDs - no more in sight for a long time

How much and what are they eating?
They eat just about anything I give them. They especially love their carbs (anything on toast, waffles, pancakes, pizza, etc.). Trying to give them a new table food almost daily - they especially gobble up peas, blueberries, apples and grapes. They get lots of water throughout the day and get formula 3 times a day - I have been giving it to them in a sippy cup and so far no complaints.

What is their favorite toy?
They're very into books - they just sit and look at the pictures and fight over the book that the other one has of course, hah. They have the FP play wall that they love crawling around and pulling up on. They love anything that makes "music" or noise. They love anything they're not supposed to have - the phone, channel changer, etc. Oh and they have huge Pooh Bears that they love and go to sleep with every night.

Great post by the way!!!
DDs are doing great - I just wish they would nap a little more during the day! Chat Icon

What are they doing?
She is crawling, cruising, pulling up to standing saying mama and dada, she waves, she also fake coughs. She chases after the dogs by crawling. She likes "reading" her books and will turn. She also tries to "sing". Oh and she feeds the dogs from her highchair. Once she even "shared" her biscuit with them unbeknownst to me - YUK!!

How much sleep at night and naps?
She takes 2 naps and sleeps from about 8pm to 8am.

Any teeth?
No teeth yet!

How much and what are they eating?
SHe is not a huge eater. But she still takes 4 bottles a day. Has yogurt and cereal for breakfast. Meat and veggie for lunch. ANd some sort of babyfood meal for dinner. She'll feed herself puffs and loves pizza crusts!! Other than that I have tried to give her cheese and table but but she's really not into it.

What is their favorite toy?
Loves all phones and remote controls. The dogs. She also likes anything she can make noise with - a drum, maracas, etc.
