Is Lynbrook just Lynbrook? Or are there different sections/roads that would justify the price difference?

This house is nice - updated and in a good area in lynbrook
The price is not that bad either

Our friends looked at the house, and while it is adorable, you have to go through the master bedroom to get to the only bathroom in the house - very oddly set up.

The house across the street from me was an original Levit that hasn't been lived in for about 2 years. The house needs to be condemned it was so poorly maintained. It just went for $300K I couldn't believe it!!

i know the owners of that house. i've never been inside, but it's a very nice area, and the elementary school is 2 blocks away

Lynbrook in "Westwood" is supposed to be highly desirable, walking distance to a train station & park & schools, my stepdaughter has lived there most of her life.
This house just came on the market, its big & nice, however for nearly 700k I think most people would expect an updated kitchen-not just two stainless steel appliances & a mismatched dishwasher, plus the bathroom is clearly from the 80's.
Pretty but still overpriced IMO

Thats what the Levitts in original condition are going for - Scary.
Needs interior work - must be scary if there are no pics

You are correct - I am sorry. Lynbrook also has an area which is very nice that has east rockaway schools. My friend lived in that area when I was younger.

looks like they lowered the price already, they need to keep going about another 60k
still way overpriced

-so its just shy of one year later & this house IS STILL FOR SALE!!!!
The price has dropped a lot but still not enough.
What are these people thinking
What a waste of time for the REA, why keep a house that is clearly overpriced on the market for a year?
Maybe if they would have started at 525k last year it would have sold.
Its examples like this that leave first time home buyers shaking their heads.
