Someone was looking out for me today!
We had yet another ice storm here last night (connecticut). I hate them! I was off today (snow day!) but had to drive to the realtor's office to drop off a check for DH's new office space...
A freaking TREE snapped (I heard this weird crunching sound) and fell into the street RIGHT in front of my car!!
I had to slam on the breaks, I was going about 40. The tree took down wires and they were sparking like mad. The tree just missed hitting my car.
I called 911 and man did they come racing. They shut down the road for now.
My chest still hurts from the scare. I had both kids in the car with me...I am SO lucky.

 SO glad you are ok!! DH was up in your area today... had a tough time getting home because all the roads were flooded and closed! I'm glad everything was ok for you!
