I like the cast! Can't wait to see it. When does it come out?
May 6th, I just looked it up
I like the cast too.. I totally pictured a Kate Hudsen type as Darcy!
So did I! It looks great!

I love Ginnifer Goodwin. She's so perfect for that part.
ITA! I think they could have done better than Kate for the other one though
I agree....someone taller, more 'model' like is what I thought when I read the books...

Re: Something Borrowed by Emily Griffin--movie trailer!
I've never read the book but while watching the trailer, I couldn't help think of Bride Wars.
Love Ginnifer Goodwin. Maybe I'll borrow the book from the library...

Things look promising from the trailer. I wasn't too with Kate Hudson as Darcy based on looks, but it seems as though she has the personality nailed down.

Re: Something Borrowed by Emily Griffin--movie trailer!
I originally posted this in the storyboard board, but it's relevant here. It's from when I met her back in May:
Update: OMG....she's sooooo nice and so funny. She even remembered people from 2 years ago and details about them! She actually signed whole sets of books that people brought (so mad I didn't think of this). She's so real...she was so excited to be there, and was so honest about things, including her feelings about Julia Roberts.
She also talked a lot about the Something Borrowed movie. She was on the set yesterday, and she said that the scripts stay very consistant with the book, but they obviously had to make some changes. They cut out Hilary, and kind of combined the characters of Hilary and Ethan. Ethan is also in New York, not England, although he will move to London in time for the second movie. She said it's a lot of phone time for Ethan, like When Harry met Sally, split screen like that. She also said that the same company making Something Borrowed, and then Something Blue, will also be making Love the One You're with, and that she was REALLY happy with that script.
She also said that they were in talks with Colin Farrel to play Marcus, but it's now being played by Steve Howey, the guy from Reba. She said he's absolutely perfect for the role, really fantastic, and she was pleased about it.

I'm a sucker for a romantic comedy - and I loved this book. I would definitely see it in the movies.
