something fun: What is your "signature" dish
you know...the one thing your whole family requests at a get together that you make perfectly EVERY TIME!
for me, it's my brownies, but I can't find the recipe right now in my mess...but I'll post it soon!

Re: something fun: What is your "signature" dish
DH always asks for tomato sauce
But as far as brining anything to parties, it's gotta be the 7 layer cookies

Re: something fun: What is your "signature" dish
It would be wonderful if everyone can post their recipes.
My signature dish is a salsa dip. Everyone loves it and asks for the recipe.
16 ounces of salsa from a jar 8 oz cream cheese 2 cans refried beans 2 cups shredded Monteray Jack or cheddar cheese
Combine and warm in the oven til the cheese is melted.
Yummy!

Macaroni and Cheese.
What are seven layer cookies? They sound yummy!
They're the tri-colored cookies they sell in the bakeries. They're actually pretty easy to make once you get the hang of it.
There are all sorts of recipes on the internet, but I make them a little differently. Let me know if you want the recipe and I'll FM it to you.
this is what they look like:Image Attachment(s):

Re: something fun: What is your "signature" dish
This is a great idea here are some examples of my signature dishes I make up alot of my own recipes:
Taco Dip (Book)
Artichoke Dip (I got from LIW everyone loves it)
S'mores Brownie (Mine)
Blue Cheese Onion Mashed Potatoes (Mine)
Pecan Pie (Mine)
Cranberry Apple Pie (Mine)
I really have a ton of them and so does DH we both love to cook and I love to bake as well. We hope to have our resturant type place one day.
Edited for spelling.
