I am so sorry to hear this. I hope that sick ******* gets what he deserves. I hope your neighbor presses charges and what is sad is that you said that neighbor has not been seen since the incident. He probably took off running scared because this is time in jail.

What a sick SOB!!!! 
I hope he gets arrested and thrown in jail for this. If he didn't like the cats on his property, he could have talked to the owners. Killing an innocent animal is just plain sick. I would call the media and let them embarrass him all over the evening news!!!

I've said it a million times on this board, and I'll say it again: It literally scares me to death that we share a world with people who have no conscience. How ANYONE could do that to an animal is beyond me.
Gosh, I couldn't even bring myself to put beer out on my stoop to get rid of the massive amounts of slugs. 
I  that those other cats get better, and that this sorry excuse for a human being gets what he truly deserves.
That said, this is the EXACT reason I will only have indoor cats from now on. I have had MANY bad experiences having an outdoor cat--you never know what kinds of sickos are out there.

I really hope that guy gets some jail time- that's just terrible. But I also hope the neighbor brings her cats indoors! It's not safe for them, native wildlife or fair for the neighbors.

wow...thats disgusting.
sometimes it seems to me that there are some serious cat hater people---and they think cats are just disposable and hate them! i'm sure if this was a dog that was annoying the neighbor--he'd probably never do that to the dog. to deliberately try and kill the cats...its just wrong.

I knew I shouldnt have opened this but I had to of course.
I can't even really make words to describe my feelings on this.
But I will tell you this- if this sick mother-f*cker lived on my block he would have NO peace after this!
He would have to make sure he never left a car out on the driveway cause it would be keyed- every single time.
Amongst other things.
I just don't think I would be able to control my anger as a bystander- MUCH less if it was my cats he did it to.
If it were my cats- I would be in jail- period.
Because I would do something a lot worse than keying this b@stards car... I can guarantee it!

Yes this needs to be on the news...!
I saw something on the front page of the paper today about some guy that killed a cat. I don't know what that is all about, but since this seems to be a big topic in the news, I would strike while the iron's hot and report this guy to news 12 or the ny post, maybe someone will pick up this story.

SICKO! May he have the same misfortune someday as the cats he poisoned.
Why do people have to be so rotten? If you don't like cats then have a chat with the neigbor who owns them. Why would you kill the animal. I have to say this is why mine are all indoor cats - I trust NO ONE! Even older kids sometimes get really psycho when it comes to hurting animals.

that is REALLY sick!!!
I had an issue with a neighbor's outside cats trying to hunt my chickens when they were little. I went & talked to her about & I took appropriate measures to protect my animals from hers.
I used coffee grinds & other organic sprays to keep the cats away from my yard.
Luckily the chickens grew up & now they are bigger than the cats so the cats lost interest.
I would never dream of killing or hurting a pet.
