Sometimes it's the little things in life
that can really pull you out of a funk. Since my back surgery I sort of have gotten into a depression. I was negative about everything.
Over the weekend my debit card said invalid account when I went to use it...
My laptop's battery pack took a crap
Well today I decided to take action and..
The bank had an update at the time I was trying to use my card, so it's working again
I decided to try to use my new laptop's power supply on my other laptop and it worked! I thought I lost all my contacts etc.
And the bonus was I went to physical therapy and a trainer there I have known since 1996 didn't recognize me because I have lost so much weight!!
What a difference a couple days make...
What good things have happened to you lately that made you feel great when you were down?

I got a C on my history midterm which really made me mad. I am a perfectionist and convinced myself I deserved at least a B. The next day I got back my business midterm...I got an A. I stuck it up on the fridge!  Dh thinks I am cuckoo for cocoa puffs, but that's fine by me.

I bought this year's yearbook and my graduating seniors have been signing it. The messages that some of these seniors have been writing to me have brought me to tears - it's was so heart-warming to see what an impact and how important I am to some of these students - especially when a student writes about something that took place a year ago. When you're having a rough day, it's easy to forget these things.

aww Phyl, you know you can vent to us.
My daughter's case was closed for early intervention but I'm happy that they opened it again. I want all the best for her, although sometimes I don't feel like the best mom.
