Sooo confused about room temps
What is the proper room temp for a baby to sleep in?
I thought i read all these posts about keeping it cool.
how is it that during the winter soo many people said they keep the room at cool temps 65-69. And now i am reading that a lot of people are keeping the room in the mid to high 70's????

Re: Sooo confused about room temps
I've read 65-68 degrees. The warmer they are, the higher the risk for SIDS.

Re: Sooo confused about room temps
During the winter, I heat the house at 68. During the summer, I keep the CAC at 76 and it's very cool. Heating temps & cooling temps are very different things---weird, I know.

Re: Sooo confused about room temps
yeah, I don't know what the deal is with it. I never keep my heat on 70 in the winter while we sleep because it gets too hot and dry. We keep it at about 68 at the highest.
But like I said on the other thread, whenever I keep the CAC on 70 his room is too cold. I think it has to do with the air being trapped in his room (with the door closed) and not circulating anywhere outside the room. And then when he wakes up his arms and feet and nose are freezing. That's how I know it is too cold for him. Could just be that my thermostat is messed up. Wouldn't surprise me
