Sooo what is everyone....
Wearing for Christmas eve/day this week since its going to be 70 degrees 
Too hot for sweater dresses!

This heat is wrecking my choices. I have such a cute sweater dress I wanted to wear. Now I'll have to go unpack my spring stuff to see what I can find.

I'll probably wear leggings, boots, and a long button down blouse.
I was going to wear a pretty new sweater dress, but perhaps I'll save that for New Years.
ETA: We were talking about making "frozen hot chocolate" to combat the heat.

Honestly it's not going to be that "hot".
In Decemeber, 70 is not the same as in the spring.
The sun goes down earlier, it gets cooler fast, the sun isn't as strong either in December.
Last weekend when everyone was raving how warm it was and running around in flip flops, I was still chilly.

I got this dress for Christmas day, which I am hosting - it's so comfy and light. The sleeves are sheer, kind of light "mesh", so it's not a warm long sleeve dress

Like right now I am in my office and they are pumping in the AC so hard that I can hear it blowing to the point of distraction. They are pumping it in like it's a 90 degree day in July.
I WISH I had a sweater dress on.
I'm freezing to death.

I never bundle up too much b/c it is always hot inside with the oven on, as someone mentioned above.

I also never wear pants. I HATEEEE pants.
Except yoga pants on the weekends.
I even hate jeans.
It's rough this time of year... i went with tights today only because they looked better with the dress than no tights....

Black yoga pants - anything else irritates my knee scars
Gold drape neck 3/4 sleeve sweater from last year.
Most of my clothes are too big now, not that I am complaining  . Waiting until I have to go back to work to go clothes shopping.

Pants and short-sleeved tunics both days
I don't wear long-sleeved shirts (I literally think I own one) because I get too hot regardless, so the weather didn't change much for my outfit choices lol.

I have a new off white short skirt that I was going to wear probably with a black tee-shirt and some kind of jacket over it with a scarf when it gets cooler into the evening.

I just bought this
top atlunch. It is a little thicker than a T-shirt and has a little more detail to it ( seaming on the sleeves) so I figure I can wear necklace & dress it up a little, but we are pretty casual on Christmas anyway.
my original top was sleeveless, but I think I will be too warm with a cardigan over it & I don't want to go sleeveless.
My other option is the dress I am wearing today, with leggings. (I have it in another color)
It is a knit, 3/4 length sleeves, but I am not hot in it today.

Sorry guys, but with ovens, stoves and 30 people in a house breathing out 98.7 degree "air", it's going to be hot. Night, day, or otherwise. Not even kidding, I am wearing capris with a sleeveless blouse and flats on Christmas eve. When I go home, I may put on a pashmina.
On Christmas day, I'm wearing dress pants and a pretty top, no jacket!
