Soothing center and swings and bouncers OH MY!

I am trying to narrow down the things on my registry... Do I need a newborn soothing center, a swing and a bouncer (i am looking at the boppy one)?? They all look similar.

Ok- what is a newborn soothing center? I didn't have that for my DDChat Icon I just used a swing and the bouncer(infant to toddler rocker by FP that my DD still uses).

What's a soothing center?

We had the soothing motions glider (is that a soothing center?), a bouncy seat, the newborn to toddler rocker for when he got too big for the bouncy, and a swing.

I live in a colonial so I kept one bouncy and the glider on the top floor, and the swing and bouncy on the bottom.

You def. don't need all of those. Two things I would get are the swing and the newborn to toddler rocker (that you will use for much longer than a regular bouncy)

On BRU there's a Graco SweetPeach newborn soothing center, which look just like a bouncer (but elevated).
I will probably need one on the first floor and one on the second floor.

Oh ok- that's the new thing that's out. They didn't have that when I was pregnant - I guess it's comparable to the soothing motions glider.

I registered for the SweetPeace, and bouncer. I also registerd for a travel swing because I have a large house and didn't want to have to move the SweetPeace from one level of the house to another. So, I'll leave that probably upstairs in the kitchen or den (since that's where I am alot!), and the travel swing in the basement where we watch TV at night.

My dh liked the soothing center, but I just wanted to get a regular swing.
I got a Papasan cradle swing and a bouncer.

The soothing center is nice, but I'm not sure how long you can use it for.

thanks ladies.... I think the soothing center is the same as a swing. So I will register for either a swing or the soothing center + the boppy bouncer.

there are so many stuff, I am just so confused Chat Icon
