Nada from the sellers.
Nada from the seller's REA.
The seller's REA gave the sellers wrapped gifts, hugs, smiles, etc.
Nada from our REA. She was clearly there just to collect her check.
think I'll ever use or refer anyone to our REA???

She left a LOT of stuff - furniture, etc.
We rec'd a gift basket of cookies  and later a beautiful rose bush from her realtor.

Not a thing but our RE agent gave us a cleaning service (however we haven't used it yet b/c we are working on the house...she said whenever we want it).

They gave us a beautiful crystal that is hanging in our kitchen window. We gave them a tiny gift too. More symbolic than beauty.

I can't beleive so many of you received such nice things.
Between the attorney and the REA/seller (she was combined in one)......we got nothing but water left in the fridge.
There was a HUGE TV downstairs that we thought she was gonna leave......she ended up giving it to the Salvation Army. 
But at least they were really nice to deal with.

Same here...along with rotten/rancid food in jars in the refrigerator that smelled so bad that we had to replace the refrigerator 
The owner was an elderly woman who had not lived in the co-op for a while before it was sold so I have no idea when the food was from

they left us a bunch of outdoor toys for my DS--a play house, picnic table, 2 basketball hoops, a kiddie wheelbarrow, a sled, and also a huge sandbox. And for us they left us their bar stools for the kitchen island! i loved our sellers!  our buyers on the other hand...

They didn't leave it as a gift, they just left the kitchen table.
Which worked out great for us since we didn't have one.
We still use it, it was in good shape and not bad looking at all.

Hmmm, we bought the house from my ILs. They left all their broken crappy furniture, and since MIL is a packrat and they were too lazy to pack every room was hip deep in junk. Some rooms I couldn't get into, I had to just reach my arm in through the door to pull stuff out. I had to take a month off work to clean out the house. All the neighbors said it was shameful what they did. DH used to sing the Sanford & Son song every time he pulled up to the house.
MIL claims that we "rushed" them out of the house so they didn't have time to clean it up, meanwhile for almost 2 years we'd been saying we'd buy the house when they moved to FL. Almost 4 years later and FIL will still occasionally ask me where stuff is and gets pizzed when I tell him to check the town dump.
Yes, I'm bitter about it.

The owners left a large mirror that they said they were taking in the contract, so we were very happy about that!
Our REA left us a bottle of red wine and two glasses which we shared with our friends over Italian take-out after our paint party

Yes - a bottle of champagne. I need to get them something now. They are REALLY nice and we have talked to them a bunch since moving in. The husband actually came over the other night bc we couldnt figure out the sprinkler system. I would love to keep in touch with them. They are such a nice family.

They didn't even leave us toilet paper  My brothers previous owners left them a bottle of wine, all the service numbers with the last time everything was serviced and a "Welcome to Our Home" sign....that's a class act!!
