no gifts, just pure junk. junk in the shed, behind the shed. Nasty dog hair stuck to all the baseboard elements.
they were already living out of state & the house was vacant & the heating system failed & most of the pipes burst. so when we got the house it was destroyed.
the sellers were very flexible though, we even negotiated the price after we were in full contract...and they gave us 5K back at closing because we closed so fast.
They were originally from Oklahoma & were very religious & homeschooled their five kids, very nice family.

Our agent gave us champagne and $300. The homeowner left us her dining room set which we are using.

"Gift" from owner: A whole lot of junk. She was crazy and had been living in the condo for at least 8 months with pretty much nothing (slept on the floor, used one plate and set of utensils, etc.). Well right after we closed, we went right to the condo and whatever she had, she left there including: her mother's fur coat, her cat's litter box, her dirty underwear and clothes that she wore during the walk through  , books, a tv, and a $400 cable bill that documented all the porn she ordered!!!  
Our REA: bought us a gift basket with all things for breakfast in bed.
Owner's REA: Promised us twice that she was going to send us a gift certficate to a restaurant, but never did. She was just as crazy as the owner!

CHAMPAGNE its still unopened cause we arenot big drinkers but it was still a nice touch. along with that was a entire house that needed to be gutted
