So...three strikes on returns today.
Went to Target - no go without a reciept on ANYTHING. They wouldn't even scan an item for me.
Went to WALMART - they at least scanned things - nothing was "theirs" (even though they carry all those items on the shelves).
TRU same thing - no go.
What the hell do I do with:
Three Amazing Animals Sing and Go Choo Choos
Two Learn and Groove Musical Tables
Three of the exact same flannel sheet sets.
A bunch of "baby" toys too young for DS (rattles, etc.)
And Two Stephen King Box sets?

that's crazy!!! i would definitely ask the buyers where they bought things and if they could give you the receipts.
it's a real waste of money.

I know!
MIL got most of the duplicates for us - including 144 diapers I hate.
She knows I hate them too, but they have Mickey on them so she got them for us anyway. 
No one would exchange them for me.

Try KB Toys-I was able to return something there today without a receipt.
ETA: Kohls is really good about taking stuff back as well!

Kohls is awesome about returns. I know they carry those FP zoo toys. Although, most of their toys were 50% off recently so you probably wouldn't get much in terms of store credit.

Can you just ask the people for the receipts?
MIL lost them. 
I had gotten the "firsts" from my parents the day before and opened them.
I'm going to see if my parents have the reciepts from what they gave me and maybe I can use them.

This is a great idea! It's a shame for someone to have duplicates or not get the full amount in store credit.

I'm thinking after finding out that I just got a "free" car seat from Target I might just donate all the extras.

what is really sad is this all came about when we all started accepting the infamous "gift receipt"...what a bunch of BS. What happened to a normal return??? Honestly, this is why people are going to get ****** when you re-gift the same stuff over and over.
Try kohls and Kaybee like someone posted above.
