Unfortunately, until men can carry a pregnancy to full term and deliver a child, their say is limited because it doesn't infinge on their personal space/body. As long as a man can walk out of a woman's life when she's 9 months pregnant with their child, his say shouldn't be as strong as hers but that isn't to say he shouldn't have any say
True and i respect that....

Women are not the only ones that decide what type of birth control is available...if you are using pull/pray method, a man is involved and just as responsible for preventing pregnancy as a women. Unfortunately, men aren't left with the end result.
true also, but why would the women put herself in that position?

Why would a MAN put a woman in that position? He knows the consequences just as well as she does. I'm sorry but that question makes no sense to me.

Same reason a man does because there are a lot worse things that could happen if you are having casual sex.

this goes back to my main point about education/responsablity when both people should step away from that moment else know the possible results.... now is that an accident or just ........... (fill in the blank)

Do you know what could happen if you drive fast? Do you still do it? Do you know what could happen if you post at work when you shouldn't be on the Internet? Do you still do it? Do you know what can happen if you eat candy? Do you still do it?
I think you get my point.

Re: South Dakota restricting abortions
Well, I believe that I myself am a very educated young woman in this country. I used three forms of protection, pill, condom, and spermicide, and I still got pregnant at 20. So education does not completely eliminate unwanted pregnancies.
I knew I could not give my child a well deserved life if I had a baby when I was and still am technically a baby myself. THAT would have been selfish of me.I am proud to be an American and have had the option to have a safe abortion.
Nobody has the right to state that adoption is an alternative to an abortion unless you are in that situation, carry someone in you for 9 months, and then suddenly give him or her away. And even then, you don't know if that child is in a loving home or horrific foster are situation.
In the end, the only person who has a say in what I should do with my body is me, and nobody else.
