Soy Formula and now Introducing Solids
My DD takes Soy formula and now I am introducing stage 2 solids...so yogurt. We gave her yogurt (yo baby) and she threw it up and had an awful reaction. My question is, do you take the chill off of the yogurt at all? Also, should I try soy yogurt instead of regular yo baby? I tried it again today with only one teaspoon and so far, so good but just curious if maybe she can't tolerate the milk product.

Re: Soy Formula and now Introducing Solids
if DC is on soy for a TRUE milk allergy (which is actually quite rare), then the yogart is probably not going to work. I'd try the soy-type. However, if DC just has a sensitive tummy, then milk products will eventually be tolerated ... perhaps just not this soon. Usually by 1 year the milk products are okay again.
Just go slow. Try each thing one at a time to differentiate between what he's tolerating and what he's not!

Re: Soy Formula and now Introducing Solids
THe dr never diagnosed a true milk allergy, just sensitive and possibly reflux, which completely went away when we switched to soy. That's what I'll do, just keep introducing slowly. Thanks!
