spaghetti squash...
what did I do wrong? I LOVE to cook. I followed all recipes for making the spaghetti squash and i really did not love it the way others did. in fact the way its described as "spahetti consistency"...NO WAY! To me it was more sauerkraut like. It was also very sweet. I scraped it like everyone suggested. Was it overcooked to have the consistency? it was cooked for about 40 min. I put oregano, seasoned salt, and paprika. When it came out I put some cheeese on it. The end result was very sweet wet sauerkraut. Suggestions?

Re: spaghetti squash...
What temp did you cook it at? I usually rub Olive oil, salt and pepper on it and bake it inside facing down for 1 hour at 350. Mine comes out soft and tasty.
I then take chicken sausage and I remove it from its casing, and sautee it. I add onions to it and sautee the onions, Add mined garlic and diced tomatoes.
Then add the squash to the mixture and simmer for 15 minutes.
Sprinkle some cheese on top and it is yummy

it sounds like it was undercooked.
like any squash, the longer it cookes, the softer it gets! cannot account for the sweetness though.

It was cooked for 45 minutes on 400. Wouldnt you think that would be enough? I still have the other half so I will go for my second attempt this week
