speaking of being offended & inappropriate Christmas cards with dead people on them...
My son got a Wii game for Christmas...
"Titanic"Hidden Mysteries: Titanic Secrets of the Fateful Voyage because he saw the movie and was totally obsessed with books about the Titanic for a while...
when he received it, I thought...'hmmm how morbid'
I already knew there was this popular carnival ride
because if you think about it... it was a tragedy... granted, it was a natural disaster and not something as controversial as 9/11, but still... a game? a ride?
So I guess almost 100 years have to pass before something isn't offensive?
thoughts...

Still not funny. In my book, the Oregon trail is only starting to be entertaining... and that's only if you remember DOS.

When i was a kid, I was OBSESSED with The Titanic. I must have read the Titanic national Geographic 836587258736586 times. I never really thought about the people ON the boat or HOW they died or that people dies at all. I was just obsessed with the underwater photography and this huge relic at the bottom of the ocean and how some things stayed in tact like a tea cup or a chandelier.

i have to say.. i did cringe when i saw that episode last week. Can't help it.
am i offended and up in arms about it? no, its Family Guy and it's to be expected.
I think context makes a difference in how something is taken
