My sister was taken off the pill too because she has a very weak heart.
The pill caused a blood clot in her eye and she is now blind in one eye.
Please be very careful

I know, the pill is so dangerous if you have a heart condition. Unfortunately, my doctors weighed the risks and it is more risky for me to get pregnant right now then to be on the pill. With all the meds I am on, the meds would cause a miscarriage or severe birth defects to a growing baby en utero. Especially the cumadin. That is why they want to put me on a IUD. Not to mention the job it would do on my heart if I did get pregnant again.
for you sister. That is an awful situation.

Re: Spend the night in the ER with atrial fibrillation...
Dina, I'm so sorry. My father in law had the valve replacement surgery and is on cumidin (sp?_) and he has had some problems with atrial fibrilations as well. I hope that they can get this resolved and under control.

I really pray that getting off the pill and cutting out the stimulants works for you.
So scarey
My Dad had a severe stroke at 57, so after these babies I was told, point blank, no more pill, ever, ever, ever for me. Too risky.
I really hope the small interventions do the trick

I know coffee is out, but let me know if you want to meet up for a nice sparkling water and a muffin.

Sounds Great! I can still have decaf! I have been drinking that but OMG, the headaches I never realized how addicted to coffee I was!
ETA: Thanks everyone
