Re: spin off of Weight watchers

My go to in am- OatFit. (found in target). easiest oatmeal and the best one with least pts.-3 add hot water, done. Tastes good.

I boil a dozen eggs for week. it helps in prep...because it really is important and helps WW work.
I eat egg whites for BK or snack.

Lots of fruits and vegetables- red peppers, cucumbers, carrots. I eat them all raw.
I add ff sour cream with a ranch dip for flavor or Tzazki(sp) sauce. low pts.

Im not a cook either so I do tend to purchase lots of premade items.
Turkey burgers from Bjs- 3pts
Premade and taste so good.
Chicken burgers as well.
I add a veggie everytime- Frozen veggies, pop in micro. Done.

HTH and GL.
It works!

I try to stick to the "outside" of the supermarket. Don't play around too much in those middle aisles. LOL.

I highly recommend using skinnytaste.com for recipe ideas. She has so many quick, simple, easy to follow recipes. She has recipes you can make ahead and freeze as well, which is a big help with young kids and a busy schedule. I also find that the points for her meals are very reasonable for the portion sizes.

For lunches I do a lot of mason jar salads. You can make them ahead of time, a few days at a time. I also make batches of chili, jambalaya, baked ziti (all skinny versions) and just portion them out. This helps a lot to keep on track during the week.

Pinterest has a million and one WW friendly meals as well and I've found many recipes I've liked, but I've also found a lot of duds. So for me, skinnytaste is tried and true.

GL! I joined over 3 years ago. It took 2 years to lose 50 lbs, but I NEVER felt like I was on a diet and it hasn't been a struggle at all to keep the weight off for the past year. I could not love WW more.

I am not on weight watchers, but I do all my meal prep on Sundays. It kinda stinks since it takes up the entire morning, but it is well worth it. My DS is the same age as your (newly 2) so I understand the time crunch. Luckily, he loves "helping" me.

The easiest thing to do for lunch is to stick a few chicken breasts in a crockpot with water for 4 hours on high and then shred them. You can put the chicken into sandwiches, wraps, on top of salads, with a side of rice or quinoa, etc. Now that it's nicer, I sometimes throw a couple of breasts on the grill.

I cut up all vegetables and fruits on Sunday morning as well. I portion out cottage cheese, almonds, greek yogurt, etc into smaller containers.

Like a PP, I also use a lot of skinny taste recipes. I prep the meals in casserole dishes on Sunday and then just put them in the over on Monday or Tuesday. I also only shop the perimeter of the store (with the exception of dark chocolate Chat Icon)
