Spin-off to 2nd c-sections ....
For those of you who have their repeat c-section scheduled, did the doctor discuss with you what will happen if you go into labor before then ??? Like, will they try to delay the birth or will they do an emergency c-section ?...I never went into labor w/ my DS, it was discovered at a sono that he was measuring over 9lbs and the Dr. scheduled me for the following morning (DS was born 10 days before EDD at almost 10 lbs)...My scheduled "C" this time is only set for 7 days ahead- Jan 6...With my luck I'll go into labor Christmas Day  and won't even know it !

I haven't even discussed birthing options yet with my OB. When did you start to discuss this?
If the case you said happens, I kind of hope it does since I am hoping for a VBAC, and thinking my doctors may not let me. Sneaky, right?

Believe it or not at my first OB appointment in May, he scheduled my c-section on the spot for January 6th !...I had IVF so they knew my exact DD so maybe that makes it easier for them to determine ???...

My hospital won't even schedule the date until a month before the actual due date. We have not discussed what will happen if i go into labor. I guess that is a good question to ask at the next appointment!!
