 - I haven't been thru it with my mother. And I'm not sure that I have any practical advice... Just wanted to send you some 's. What your mom did was wrong.

No, not with my parents. but I rarely fight with them.
My MIL pulls this stuff on DH though. it is so childish.
edited to add: he deals with it by not dealing with her. He doesn't rely on her for anything- always has to have a back-up plan and anticipate how she is going to act.
