spin off to well paying jobs

It amazes me how many people make soooo much money and what some people consider a "well paying job"

So think about this.....
The federal poverty level for a family of 4 is 20,652.

Could you survive on that?
Could you survive on 200% of the federal poverty level. So say 41K for a family of 4.???

I agree but the lower salary goes along with the less expensive areas.

Could I survive? Yes. Could I keep my house? No.

its so scary, because in NY in order to get government assistance, like Medicaid you have to be below the poverty rate. People actually live on that salary. It is sooo sad to meChat Icon

No and No to both questions. We make over 6 figures combined and I feel like we always worry about money. We live well but still always worry about the what if's.
That being said I guess you do what you have to do when the situation arises. I guess we'd figure it out be we wouldn't be living the lifestyle we live now that's for sure.
