I haven't gone I YEARS but friends of mine asked me recently if I'd like to go with them to two shows. So I've got Poison and Madonna tickets right now.

I picked "sit in my car".
I rarely go to concerts. I never relate to the people who listen to the types music I listen. So in essence I am "scared" to go to the concerts.

I LOVE concerts. I used to go to about 14 a year, though I don't go nearly that often any more.
I love many kinds of music, though, so there is always someone I like performing...
I actually miss going to concerts. I haven't been to a really good one in a while. It's time to start paying attention to those TicketMaster emails I get!

I only go to who I love.
Last year I saw The Police, Hootie, and Jimmy Buffett.
Every year I go to a Jimmy Buffett concert somewhere in the Tri-state area. Going this year at Jones Beach thanks to fins!!! LOVE YA!!!
I've seen Hootie 3 times in the last 2 years and will be going again in July.
I'm also going to see James taylor this summer too at JB.

I LOVE a good rock concert. But I only go if it's a band I absolutely LOVE.
Right now, I'm fighting an internal battle with myself--NIN is coming to town in a few months, and I'm not sure if going to a NIN concert while 5 1/2 months pregnant is a very responsible thing to do...

I can relate to this. I'm a huge fan of hard rock and industrial music--but the whole "scene" is not me. Still, if it's a band I LOVE, I suck it up and try to get seats as far away from the pit as I can.

Maybe I'm old beyond my years, but I don't really like going to concerts. DH and I have to REALLY LOVE the performer to go.
same for us, we used to go to a lot of concerts, but now we lost interest, unless it is a rare concert by a band that we love.

Not a fan of concerts at all, especially the big area venues. To get a good seat you have to pay an arm and a leg or pay a decent price for a bad seat and barely get too see anything. I also don't care for the crowds.
If I LOVED the artist I would consider it if it was a House of Blues type venue.

I saw tons when I was younger, but now I hold out for the ones I love.
my BIL is a concert junkie though. (he followed the Dead on tour). he goes to NO for Jazz Fest every year, goes to Blue Grass festivals, will go see almost anything at Westbury, can pick up and go to a concert by himself - and make 5 new friends there.
