Re: Spinoff - How do you feel about going to concerts?
Love concerts!!! I definitely feel like I went to so many more concerts in high school and college - so much cheaper! Now I am choosier, since tickets end up being so expensive, but if I love the artist, I'm there!
Seeing The Police and Elvis Costello tonight!!!

Re: Spinoff - How do you feel about going to concerts?
I love going to concerts of bands/acts I like but I do not go to the ends of the earth and go nuts to get tickets - they basically have to be easy to get or fall into my lap.
That being said, DH and I are going to see the Police on August 5th at Jones Beach for my b'day.
And you might ask "Gee Leslie, isn't that awfully close to your due date?"
To which I would reply "Yes, just 3 weeks, shy of my due date, but I figured I would ask Sting to sign my belly."
You just TRY to keep me away from THIS:

Re: Spinoff - How do you feel about going to concerts?
I've never been one into concerts until I met DH, and I actually enjoy them and have fun. I'm seeing Motley Crue this summer with him at Jones Beach and we're seeing Celine Dion together in September. He goes to concerts for his fav bands all the time providing the tickets aren't too much - unless it's Van Halen, Dream Theater, Led Zeppelin, Rush, etc, he'll pay anything to go!

Um, yeah...I love concerts. I wish I had more disposable income to spend on the astronomical ticket prices these days! I am DYING to see George Michael...but couldn't justify the cost.
However, I have been a devoted fan of Bryan Adams for over 20 years, and recently spent over $300 to see him twice in ten days...worth every penny to sit in the 2nd row orchestra TWICE and get an autograph, shake his hand and speak to the man.

My hubby and I go to concerts all the time...BUT....if it's not a metal show, I probably won't go.

Re: Spinoff - How do you feel about going to concerts?
This weekend we went to Borgata and saw Sully Erna, the lead for Godsmack, and it was G R E A T...... He played an unplugged show in a small theatre an talked to the audience, asked questions, told stories about the creation of some songs and played all of his greatest unplugged.......
It was like he was kicking it on my couch with his guitar.
The wife got it for us for our anniversary, one of the best gifts I have ever received.
Thank you, Vanessa

Re: Spinoff - How do you feel about going to concerts?
I have to really, really like the person but even then, I'm never really comfortable in a huge crowd. Unless I have really great seats, I also feel like I might as well be sitting in the car.
