I love the Mill River Inn in Oyster Bay. They only have about 12 tables. The food is great. You definitely need reservations.

I think the most ROMANTIC restuarant I have been to on LI would be Franina's in Syosset.
Maybe ebcause we got engaged there....but I thought it was romantic before that.

i was going to say that!!!! but i heard they changed te menu to make it more casual? is that true? b.c when i heard that i got upset because as expensive as it was, it was such a treat to go there
i also LOVE the wine cellar at the carltun

Well, I am not sure. I have not being there in a while but I will definitely look into it.

We were looking there to have our reception. Turned out it was too small, but the place is beautiful. 
I don't really have any suggestions but I'm bookmarking this for future ideas.

I find Three Village Inn to be romantic; it's so quaint.
Also, where we had our rehearsal dinner, 105 Harbor in Cold Spring Harbor. We love sitting upstairs overlooking the bay.
