Re: spinoff- do you wash your hands everytime you go to the bathroom at home?
I can't help but feel like some people are full of the stuff they leave behind in the bowl.
Come on now....at 4 am when I get up to pee, I'll be DAMNED if I'm coherent enough to wash my hands.
And for those with animals, do you wash your hands everytime after you pet your cat/dog? Cause they're little germ carriers...so I'm guessing you probably also wash your hands then too.
Sheesh at that rate, I feel like most people must live at the sink. Who has time for anything else?!!?

That made me laugh.
I also find it funny that if I remember correctly, 75% of the people polled said they wear their jeans 3 or more times before they wash them.
Ummm...I don't know about them, but when I wear my jeans they are near my a$$ and vajayjay. And they probably touch the bathroom floor (the jeans, not my private parts).
How can one be such a germaphobe on one and so lax on the other?

I think what it comes down to is we are all dirty girls, just in our own ways and with our own OCDs rules

Re: spinoff- do you wash your hands everytime you go to the bathroom at home?
every time after going to the bathroom.... and also after loading the dishwasher, cleaning....
In my former life I used to be less meticulous about hand washing (after toilet, but not after going shopping etc) and honestly, I got sick MUCH more frequently than I do now. That's when it clicked in my head on why I wasn't getting sick as often, and I became very aware of the 'status' of my hands before touching my face.
Now with a newborn, DH and I are especially concious of it....

Re: spinoff- do you wash your hands everytime you go to the bathroom at home?
My dh does wash his hands at 4 am but he is insane. I am always a deeper sleeper than him & I'll admit I just pee and run. I want to get back to my warm bed.
I do wash at work b/c the people I work w/ are gross and don't wash when they use the toilet. They flush & run, never refill the soap dispenser (I have ordered big jugs of Softsoap) THe best is when they don't replace the TP. One day I think I did replace it about 4 times.
Finally I decided to use the restroom in our hallway which is for the whole floor and they are like PARADISE. Brand new, no one uses them and they are sooo clean.

Re: spinoff- do you wash your hands everytime you go to the bathroom at home?
Okay, I will be brave and say not always. Sometimes it is too cold and I don't want to let the water run for a minute or two to get warm.
I always wash before cooking and after changing a diaper. But sometimes with DD around, I can't wait. I need to pee and run! Rip me apart, but my daughter's initial safety is more important than the germs I got from using my own bathroom.
