Spinoff: Falling asleep in class
Was that the worst or what? OMG I remember sitting in macro / microeconomics class in college and my eyes were crossing, I was yawning....I had to get up and get some water or something. It was so boring I couldn't keep my eyes open. Sometimes I used to pinch myself so the pain would startle me!

I've pinched myself before too!
I remember 2 things from Human Evolution in college...one time my friend and I were passing notes and she said she looked over at me and I fell asleep in MID AIR - my hand was stretched out handing her the note 
The other time I woke up in a pile of drool with spiral notebook imprint on my face!
No wonder I failed!!!

I never fell asleep in college. Once my head started to bob, I figured if I'm going to fall asleep, I may as well go back to my dorm room and be comfortable....

After working outside this winter and then having to sit in class, there were times I would feel REALLY drowsy, but I also liked my teacher so I didn't want to fall asleep. I would go to the bathroom and walk the hallway for a little while.
Another class, I hated my teacher and fell asleep twice.

i always fell asleep in college - i was allowed to slep in half my high school classes so ideveloped a bad hbit
once in high school - i fell out of a desk when i was asleep - and i was in the frint row right int he middle of the classroom
staying awake in meetings is the only thing that broke my habit

i literally slept in every college class i had. i slept in middle and high school too--one teacher insisted to my parents that i was on drugs (i wasn't).
i continue to fall asleep at work all the time...in meetings of 3 people, on the phone...i just CANNOT stay awake.

I have to take continuing education for my license and I have trouble staying awake, especially at the all day ones. I end up drinking coffee, which is a rarity for me!
