spinoff milk and 2 year old
does your child drink whole milk, 2% fat free??? DO they stay on whole milk till 3??

DS just had his well visit and the doctor said he could go on 1% or 2%. She said just not skim milk.

DD is 3. she is still on whole milk for a few reasons: #1 the dr never mentioned switching when we had her 2 or 3 yr well visits. #2 she is a picky eater so I figure the extra calories/fat is good for her #3 she only drinks about 16 oz a day so I dont see it as a problem.

Same reasons here, except my DD is only 2. And her ped did mention the milk switch but said I can keep her on whole since she's still in the 50th% for weight.
