Spinoff to 2 year old drinking milk?
How much do your children weight that you keep them on whole milk?
DS is 28lbs and 35 inches tall.

DD is the same height and weight as your DS, I still have her on whole milk.

DD is 30 lbs and change and I just switched her to 2%. She has no issues with weight gain like her Momma

At her 18 month appt, DD weighed 21lbs and was 32 inches tall. I put her on the scale today, she'll be 2 in 2 weeks, and she's about 23-24 lbs.
My youngest weighed the same weight at her 9 month appt.

DS is just under 28 lbs and is 35 1/4"
The ped hasn't told me to switch, and Rj is not the best eater- so I prefer the whole milk
He drink 8-16oz/day

Ella's not quite 2 yet, but she's a lightweight, so I have no plans to move her off whole milk.

Marron was 25lbs at 21 months. She'll be 2 next week. I just switched her to 2%. I just don't think the extra fat is necessary. Also, I'm tired of buying 3 different kinds of milk! 
ETA: She has always been in the 50th percentile for wt. and the doctor said we could switch at 2.

at Syd's last appt (22 months), she was 28 lbs... I am taking her for her next appt next week, I'm sure she's not much more than that, maybe 1 lb if i had to guess and I already switched her...
