spinoff of friendships
when friendships change, meaning you become less close for whatever reason do you fight for that friendship or do you just let it go?

Re: spinoff of friendships
I've done both, depending on the person. I usually fight for it for a while, I have trouble giving up on people that make it into my "good list". Loyal Leo to the core.

Re: spinoff of friendships
I had to let one of my high school friends go. She mad NO effort to contact me at all, I was always the one contacting her. When she did not respond to my wedding, that was the last straw.....see ya

Re: spinoff of friendships
it totally depends on the friend. I have definitely done both in different situations.

I used to fight for them...but in reality...if we moved on...we moved on for a reason.
I have a great friend that we didn't talk for a couple of years. Then somehow we picked up like we were never apart....those are your real friends.

I am like that too but after awhile it gets tiring.

Re: spinoff of friendships
I try to let it go, but sometimes it's hard to cut people off all together.

Re: spinoff of friendships
It's tough. There's one in particular that I've been fighting for for a while, but the other person doesn't seem to want to fight for it as much, so I'm starting to let it go.

Re: spinoff of friendships
Both. I had two best friends that were very dear to me. One I let go, the other I kept but distanced myself.
