I think I started with applesauce...then I just slowly moved through all the gerber stage 1 fruits. Then on to veggies.
DS had a stomach reaction to peaches though, every time he would have peaches he would spit up more frequently and it would always be orange! So we waited on that for awhile!

I did all the veggies first and then the fruits. I think I started with apples then bananas, peaches,pears, blueberries and so on. I didn't use jar foods though, I would buy it all fresh since it was the summer when she started them.

I am pretty sure it was applesauce first and then pears, bananas, and believe it or not prunes was his favorite!  Athan didn't care for peaches at all.

Landon LOVES peaches best of fruits and sweet potatos best of veggies.

I did 1 fruit, then 1 veggie, etc
He had applesauce first, then 5 days later sweet potatoes, then we tried bananas and now we are on carrots. He will start pears on Saturday!

I'm trying to remember... I think we did apples (allergic!) then pears and then I scrounged around for another stage 1 fruit and came up with peaches.
Then we did orange veggies... allergic to sweet potatoes... then green veggies but we held off on peas for a while for fear of yet another allergy. My poor DD was limited to only 4 foods besides cereal for MONTHS.
Now she eats almost anything.
One of these days I'm going to try apples and sweet potatoes again.

I started with veggies and worked to fruit. Started with applesauce and then pears. My son HATES sweet potatoes and isn't crazy about bananas.
I actually mixed a little of the fruit with the cereal to help him get used to new tastes and then gradually made it stronger over time.

so obviously u got him used to liking the cereals first and then when u introduced a little of the fruits it wasnt as dramatic as introducing the fruits all by themselves??.....sounds like a great idea
