Spinoff on the organic foods
Does anyone know why organic milk lasts so much longer than "regular" milk?

I asked someone this. The anser I got (from the produce guy in Whole foods...lol) was that it has less chemicals so it uses its own natural preservatives which last longer than the synthetic ones used in "traditional" food.
I have no idea if that is right though
ETA: I just read that it is ultra-pasturized....maybe that is it?

Organic milk is ultra-pausterized at really high temps which helps it have a longer shelf life without preservatives.. it can have a shelf life up to 60 days.
