spinoff to chinese food...

What do you usually order? What are your favorites?

I usually get either shrimp with brocolli, shrimp with snow peas or shrimp mei fun.

Dh ALWAYS gets chicken with brocolli---and he barely eats the brocolli -- just loves the chicken.

I also like to get wonton egg drop soup mix, spring rolls, fried wontons...but don't get them all the time, just once in a while I'll get one for something extra.

Re: spinoff to chinese food...

The last time I ate Chinese food was two year ago. When I use to eat it I would only order chicken and broccoli in white sauce with brown rice.

What exactly is Moo Shu pork? I don't know what it is or what is in it. Can you describe it to me?

I guess I'm sick of getting the same thing every time we order...

Its basically shredded meat and cabbage/veggies. They come with pancakes (wraps) and you roll them up!

Moo Shu Pork is shredded pork/veggies similar to the ones in an egg roll with plum sauce wrapped in a thin flour tortilla type wrap. It's really tasty.not real spicy or anything.yummm

eta:I am not a very adventurous person either when it comes to food.

Re: spinoff to chinese food...

I used to work in a chinese take out place in Sag Harbor for 5 years!! I have tried chinese at many places, and still, that place is always my favorite!! I have not found 1 good place in RI yet!!!Chat Icon

I love:

Sesame Chcken

Fried Dumplings w/ extra dipping sauce!

Chicken w/ cashews

Moo Shu Vegetable

Moo Shu: shredded cabbage, woodear mushrooms, and eggs are usually in all moo shu dishes...in addition to meat if you get meat, veggies, if you get that kind, etc...

They have very very thin (pancakes)wrappers..think the wrapper of a spring roll, before its fried....

I LOVE Moo Shu

Sometimes I have them make my own concoction: sliced chicken with waterchestnuts, baby corn and cashews in brown sauce! YUMMY!Chat Icon
