Spinoff to Cloth Diaper Post -- Did Anyone Start Cloth Diapers Late in the First Year?
DD is 8.5 months and I have been toying with the idea of using cloth diapers now. Is this a ridiculous idea?
It was just so overwhelming in the beginning, and now that she is on solids I usually throw the poop in the toilet anyway.
Did anyone else do this?

i started from birth with my second... but not silly at all if you plan on having more kids....you would just use them on the new babies as well.

Re: Spinoff to Cloth Diaper Post -- Did Anyone Start Cloth Diapers Late in the First Year?
I first wanted to start when my DD was a year old and was quickly shut down. i wanted when pg with my son, adn after we found his diaper allergy at 7wks we started cd. DD is now 26 months and is no longer showing interest in pt so we cd her now as well and I love it! I highly suggest a diaper sprayer. It helps get more poop off of the diaper and liners work well also. My only regret in cding is not doing it as soon as I wanted. I love my one size pockets and joey bunz help inserts for my 2yr old heavy wetter.

I started at 2 years old with my daughter and from birth with my son as soon as he got home from the hospital. Wasn't a hard transition for my daughter, she loves her flower diapers!
