Spinoff to flu vaccine post..

For those that are not giving it, can I ask your reasons? I have never had the flu shot and DH gets it every year...I didn't give it to DD last year b/c she was only 6 months..part of me doesn't want to do it, but yet I don't really have a reason, I just don't like the extra vaccines..I was just wondering what other people's reasons are for not giving it.

I always seem to have a reaction to it and DD did too so I'm not eager to give it again. My grandmother does too so I think it's something that runs in our family. The Ped claims that's not possible b/c it's a synthetic virus but it's pretty hard to argue with empirical proof. It'd be too big a coincidence in my opinion. But DH gets one w/o probs.

the one year I got the shot- I got the flu!!! I don't think it was a coincidence either. To me, it seems counterintuitive to put what you don't want in your body, in your body!
