I lay toilet paper all over the seat (like 3 layers) then I sit on it.
Same here or use the disposable ones provided

OK this will no doubtedly reveal me as the biggest freak but...since getting PG I cannot hover very well & since I dod not trust the paper-thin seat covers I take into the restroom with me a travel sized pack of disinfectant wipes. I actually wipe down the seat, wait 30 seconds, then put 2 layers of TP or a seat cover if they have it then I do my stuff
(OK commence laughing fits)
takes a lot of work but hey, if that's what works!

The only public restroom where I actually sit on the seat is at my job- Even then I use a toilet seat cover. I'm not exaggerating when i tell you that the bathroom is SPOTLESS. I have never seen such a clean restroom in my life. My building maintanance crew does an amazing job keeping the restrooms clean as a whistle!
Other then that.. I never EVER ... its just ... ew !!

OH my goodness! I agree- that's just nasty! Everyone should clean up if they "miss" ... but still...wiping it, doesn't really Clean it ya know...

First i will inspect the seat, if there is anything wet on it, i will wipe it down completely
Then i will use the seat cover, I always double up and use 2.
If there are no seat covers i use a few layers of toilet paper, i make sure i cover the whole entire seat. back front etc.
I can not hover because i suffer from UTI infections and if i dont sit i cant empty my bladder all the way, and if i try to hover the pee doesnt come out all the way and i end up getting an infection

If I've managed to sprinkle on the toilet, I wipe up after myself. You couldn't pay me to sit on a public toilet UNLESS it had a seat cover OR an inch of TP wrapped around it.

Same here for the most part. Honestly, I read somewhere that the majority of public toilets out there are more clean than the toilet in your own home, because they're cleaned on a daily basis.

Unless the seat is covered in pee or something gross, yes, I sit on the seat. You can't catch anything from a toilet seat.
The seat is actually probably one of the cleanest parts of the bathroom.
I actually find it quite shocking that there are more people who won't sit on the toilet seat than who sometimes won't wash their hands after going to the bathroom.
