I am so bad. I am just NOT a caller. I love talking on the phone, I just don't ever initiate.

Yes...I call my "best friend" (my sister  ) every day...like 3 times a day at times...she's tired of me!!

i use im and email
calls maybe 1-2x a month to my friend that lives in florida
otherweise its an email or text to make plans. then we catch up when we see each other in person

I talk to my best friend every night while driving home from work. Once I get home...I HATE talking on the phone.

I'm an emailer rather than a caller too. It's more impersonal, but I can draft the whole thing in pieces, when I have time, instead of spending hours on the phone.
When I get home from work, I don't want to talk on the phone. And if it's a weekend, I'd rather see you than talk on the phone.
Especially when my sister's kids are home. I end up with this disjointed, fractured conversation because the kids need attention.

Me too. It's hard to talk sometimes from work and when I get home, I don't want to get on the phone. It's something I really really need to work on.

Nowadays...I only communicate via email.

Since the age of email and IM, no...it's only a very rare occassion if I do. I do, however, speak to my sister every day - I'll call her on my ride home from work - in addition to IM'ing all day.

we talk ALOT!!! I have 2 girlfriends that I talk to at least 3 times per day!! My Mom and I are at least a few times oer day as well

I am a caller but no one is ever there so I leave a message send emails.......
3 of my friends I have decide I will call in the beging of the month and send an email mid month that way they can not say I didnt try

No, we never use our phone. I just am not a phone call person, I don't like to bother people. I have one friend who moved out of state who I try to call on a regular basis, but that's it.

So I must say, I am a horrible friend this way. I do email though.
