im alittle confused...Chat Icon my dd was EBF except for one formula nottle at nite, for the first 4 months of her life, when i was in the hospital my supply dropped, and no matter what i did it was never the same because she had gotten so used to the bottle at my mothers house, and i dont pump enough milk to bottle feed her that, so shes been getting ALOT more formula then BM lately..Chat Icon
anyway, it is what it is..and she started solids, but now, since im trying to keep her nursing as well, i feel like all she does is eat all day..
i was under the impression that eating solids IS NOT supposed to replace a nursing or bottle? But im seeing alot of babies on here are now skipping a bottle or nursing when introduced to solids..my dd is very little, so maybe shes making up for it..but shes eating like this: (can someone tell me if this looks normal)

6-7am..nurses from both sides..
9am..4 1/2 oz formula, oatmeal (with 1oz formula) and fruit
11:45-12..nurses AND/or bottle, depending if she didnt get enough BM
3..5oz bottle
6..5oz bottle cereal and veggie
8..nurse (mostly just for comfort, not a full feeding)
9..6 1/2oz bottle before bed which she sometimes doesnt finish..

it looks like ALOT but it seems like im feeding less per ounce then most of you because im also nursing..and i guess the reason im doing that is because im hoping that ill be able to re establish my supply within the next few weeks, and go back to EBF..
but i feel like the more she eats (solids) the less she wants to nurse, shes just looking for that bottle and food now Chat Icon
anyway, if this is an okay intake, i have to do whatever to help her gain weight..
we go for a weight check thursday so ill discuss with ped..but any opinions??
