Spinoff to keeping DC's items for future children: Where do you plan on storing these items?
I would like to save some of DS's items but we don't have room to store his things. We don't have a lot of storage space. Currently we live in a townhouse but we will probably be moving back into the city. Then we really won't have any extra space.
Where do you plan to store your DC's items? Grandparents' house?

We have NO storage room - everything is packed in tubs labeled by size and in my Mom's basement.

I've just been putting them by size into Pamper Diaper boxes.
Newborn - 3 months
3 - 6 months
6 - 9 months
And that's how far I've gotten so far.
Once a box is full it gets labeled and put into the attic.

Same here. Recently we started using those vacuum seal bags.

we put them in diaper boxes by size and stored them in the basement or in the attic.
if i didnt have the room i would not save them.
my friend who had her 1st in March gives away all her DSs clothing once he outgrows it bc she doesnt have the space to store anything...

Same here. My mom got me the vacuum bags recently but I haven't used them yet.

Me too. I just started using space bags and they are awesome, so I think I am going to reorganize everything and use space bags in teh bin. they really do a great job of condensing the clothes.
If I have a boy next, someone is going to be getting some great hand me downs!

I already have stuff at my parent's house. We live in a 2BR and there is just no room.
I do dream of the day when we have a basement. How sad is that?!

I never thought of using diaper boxes! What a great idea!
Right now, everything is in plastic garbage bags in the attic.
