spinoff to magician at christening
What do you think about having a dj/kareoke at a christening? The one i most recently went to had this? Is this inappropriate like a magician or clown?
Not startng trouble just making conversation.

Re: spinoff to magician at christening
I think music (DJ) is fine. I'm on the fence about karoake. I'm not expecting anyone to sit around praying all day or for kids to be bored - but for 4 hours I think you could find crafts to entertain them (coloring books, etc).
I don't consider myself religious but I wouldn't do it for the ones I've hosted.

Another one i went to was basically two guys singing, but they had an extra mic and people ( mostly my drunk bil)( were getting up and doing a kareoke of sort.
