SPinoff to moving posts
Does it bother you when a post is on the wrong board? it doesn't matter to me what board it goes on. it will get read no matter what. i know some boards have more traffic than others. i would help the posters if its on the wrong board

It does bug me to an extent.
If it OBVIOUSLY belongs on another board, it should be moved there.
Otherwise what's the point of the other boards?

Why have other boards if everyone wants to post every single thing on NFR?
It is ridiculous...I go to Pregnancy to see whos expecting, send best wishes, etc...same with home...parenting, etc
I go to celebrity for just that...celebrity news...If we did not have these other boards then NFR would get cluttered, posts would get buried in a matter of minutes and really what would be the point?

I just don't like it when they move a post that I was looking for, and I have to search for it... but that's just laziness on my part :P
Normally I wouldn't post on nfr about my dog like I did... but honestly, I was freaking out and knew that at 7am I probably would get quicker feedback on NFR... which I did.
I really think it depends on the type of post. If it was about dog food or a hotel, or siding, yes they belong on specific boards. But I think there should be exceptions for prayer posts, etc.
However, in the end, it doesn't really bother me.

It doesn't bother me, it just makes me wonder why the other boards exist then. And I am definitely guilty of posting on the wrong board. I don't know. I'm not easily annoyed, I guess.

Exactly!!!
LIF is NOT like any other Chat board out there....the post only gets moved here....on others, it would get deleted....so consider yourself lucky that it only gets moved!

Is there really a neccesity to start more drama over this? Why don't we let it go and if people report a post and it gets moved...big deal. I don't flip out when my posts get moved.

I know some people here dont like my opinion, I have already been told so. But people need to lighten up. Its really not THAT big of a deal if a post is on a wrong board. I mean, does it ruin you whole day if a post is where it shouldnt be? Why report it?? Just ignore it.

Personally, it doesn't phase me in the least. At this rate they should just put up more categorized boards and just do away with NFR altogether . . . .
