spinoff to my disturbing post. my other crazy family member
My aunt "M"'s daughter(see my other post about her), my cousin"J" had a baby in January. I have yet to hold the baby for fear of her telling me that i cant.
To pick up the baby "J" first washes her hands with heavy duty industrial soap. Then she knocks the doors open so her hands cant touch any door knobs in HER OWN house.
Her sister, my other cousin, was taking care of her and put her down on my grandmothers couch for a second. "J" saw this , SCREAMED, and ran to wash the baby bc she touched the couch where my grandmother had visiters sitting many months ago.
You know the brushes to clean out babys bottles. She replaces them after using them only once.

Yikes...I couldn't imagine living like that. What's she going to do when the baby starts picking things up and putting them in her mouth?

She could have OCD and be germaphobic.
Problem is she's going to give her kid quite the complex as the baby grows up.

I was thinking this too. Is it possible to give somebody OCD just by raising them that way?

thats what i was thinking. If you look further down you'll see a post about my aunt and how she is. Now my cousin is like that.
My mother an other aunts arent as bad but they are weird about cleaning too.
Im freaked out about developing it also
