Spinoff to my post-- Cooking Classes on LI
Anyone do this anywhere fun?? Just had a thought as a good gift for my dad.
Maybe like a beginning baking class or something like that?
Doesn't Viking do classes? Or Wolf/Sub-Zero?

Viking does it at loaves & fishes in garden city. I have taken two classes therer and loved them both. it's been mostly couples or mother/daughter both times i went.

well - it might be different on the week day/night classes. the weekend classes were all kind of coupled off. After having gone with my husband, I would consider going to one alone, but i think it's more enjoyable to go with someone else.

That sounds like soooo much fun! I would want to go with my dad! My dad and I are the only ones who actually like to cook. My DH would never go with me and my mom wouldn't want to go with my dad.
