So what do you dress your 6 month old or infant in when you go out lately. I put her in her snow suit/bunting but she gets warms so I always have to strip her down.
What about everyone else?

Are you talking about just to and from the car? If so just put a hat and coat on her. My DC are 12 months, but they both wear fleece jackets so they don't interfere with the car seat straps. If we have a long walk to the mall entrance and it is really frigid and windy I put a blanket over the stroller.
If your DD is still in the infant carrier, you can use something like the posh pouch. This is what I used last year, and it was awesome.
There is really no need to dress her that heavily to go in and out of the car.

ITA. When DS was a newborn, he was in the infant carrier with the Posh Pouch over it. He wore his regular clothes and a hat. If it was really windy or cold, I put a blanket over the handle.
Now that he's a toddler, he wears a warm jacket and a hat.
