SPINOFF to store brand items. What items are NOT the same as the brand name?
So, what products would you NEVER buy store brand. For me it would be mayonnaise. For some reason I cannot stand the store brand..I always have to buy Hellmanns

Well, I know most "youngsters" don't use these, but due to so many UTI infections, my urologist told me not to use cheap "pads". I changed to POISE; Whoopie G's new POISE pad commercial cracks me up!!!! Mary

I would never buy anything but Heinz Ketchup or Hellman's Mayo. Also PB has to be brand name for me as well. Oh, and I also learned last week that store brand coffee is not the same as brand name coffee so I'll add that to the list.

Ah, thats another one for me. I once tried pads from the dollar store because I had run out and it was the closest place to me and I was truly disappointed. Perhaps it was just that particular kind, I wonder if there are better store brand pads out there

soda, cold cuts (Boars Head only!), cereal, ketchup (I will never buy anything called catsup), mayo, Tuna (BumbleBee albacore only)

Hebrew National/Nathan's/Sabrett/Boars Head Hot Dogs
Cold Cuts - meat only - must be Boars Head
Ravioli - Pastosa only
Jarred sauce - I like a few brands but never the store brand

Cold Cuts - meat only - must be Boars Head
Agree with this, except when it comes to Roast Beef. Must be bought at a deli that cooks it themselves. I love Boars Head but their Roast Beef is awful.

I actually like the Target version of Oreos better than the real oreos. Same with Teddy Grahams. I bought the Target teddy grahams for my DS and now can't keep them in my house because I LOVE them.

I pretty much buy store brand for everything except the following:
Dishwasher liquid
detergent
shampoo (although sometimes I'll buy CVS's brand of Pantene and it's fine most times)
Toilet paper (sometimes if there are no good sales on the name brand stuff I'll buy it, but I find that it's lesser quality and usually less in the package)
That's pretty much it. The rest I have no problem buying store brand.
That being said, if I shop the sales, I usually don't even need to buy store brand.

Other than drugs just about everything I buy is brand name. I can tell the difference in just about everything that is store brand. Right down to bottled water.
