He wears only to work or special occasions...not on weekends if we are doing nothing and staying home.

Nope. Only if we go out or he has a business meeting. It doesn't really bother me. It used to. Then I realized it was no big deal. A ring does not make you married

No only on weekends. He works with his hands during the day, so his ring would look like it was chewed up and spit out if he wore it everyday

Yes but he takes it off at home, sleep and showers. Plenty of times we've left the house and he'll say "im naked" hahaha

He wears it when we go out or for special events (IF he remembers).

I was worried about him not wanting to wear the ring since he has never done well with jewelry. It always bothers him, and his dad never wore a wedding band. However, he never takes it off. Just if he's doing some nasty cleaning or heavy work with his hands.

he did until he lost it at work about a month ago. He wears gloves and he thinks it slipped off when he took off his gloves. we havent gotten around to getting him a new one.

DH has not worn his in several months. He cannot wear it at work for safety reasons and he never remembers to put it back on.

Nope. He never wears it to work for safety reasons. He used to put it on immediately after his post work/workout shower.. but now he really only wears it when we are going somewhere.
